Camping

Em and Cam, a dynamic duo
Em and Cam, a dynamic duo

Last weekend we went camping in the south of the Netherlands together with the other Gorwills.
Cameron met his cousin for the first time and they became very good friends over the weekend.
Actually a weekend was too short, but we had fun! For more pictures please go to the webalbum

New car

New car
Finally some news that isn't baby related.....well maybe in a way. Both our cars aren't big enough to transport a pram and shopping for example. Let alone going on holiday. So therefor we bought a 'new' car. It isn't completely new, but to us it is :-D.
And since this car has a tow-bar, we are going to buy a second hand caravan on Saturday too. Woohoo!
Luckily James has got some experience on how to camp, so Emily and I are safe. But looking forward to some nice trips. Hopefully we will keep it dry this summer

Yummy

Emily enjoying her carrot mash! The spoon can't reach her mouth fast enough.....wondering who she gets it from, hahahaha

Meeting my nanna and auntie Claire

Nanna and her ''Teddybear''
Nanna and her ''Teddybear''
Last weekend (Jan 25th) was also big fun. All the way from an island came my nanna and auntie Claire to see me for the first time. And thanks to nanna I now know a new song about a Teddybear and thanks to auntie Claire I know some more naughty words!

Meeting granddad Bob

Meeting granddad Bob
January 20th granddad Bob came over to see his first granddaughter, and according to her smile there was an instant click between the two of them.

All about the baby

All about the baby
We were well prepared about the fact that once you had a baby your whole world turns around the baby.
True in a way....but we don't let the world stop, sit home and watch her grow. So her first trip to the UK has been booked! Luckily opa and oma are coming along too, so we have some help while carrying Emily's belongings :-D
Next weekend Emily's English grandfather is coming to see us and the week after it will be auntie Claire and nanna. We can't wait!!
We are glad they are coming over rather quick, because Emily is changing every day. It's obvious she looks like James, but as a proud mother I also see something in her from when I was a baby, haha.
Anyway...we still think she is gorgeous and luckily we are not the only ones.

Dadīs eye view

Dadīs eye view
Well its been said so often it sounds like "a load of old blogs", but I can now confirm that having a child is a super life changing experience.  For me the hardest part to grasp is "what have i done to deserve such a love worthy and perfect addition to my life?"  Luckily i do believe that the powers that be keep a far superior overview of these things and has seen fit to bless Sandra and I with just such a familial addition.  For the first time in 35 years i have the feeling i can really make a difference to this world.  To sum up, Wow, jeez what a lucky bugger i am.  Got another chance at life just to be with the new one.  well this is one offer only the lobotomized would turn down!!!
Lots of love and happiness to all

Mum's eye view

Mum
So how were my last 9 days? In one word: satisfying.
There is work to do, but I do it with pleasure. And of course it would been a lot harder if I wouldn't have the help of a wonderful husband.
The first two days I found it frightening that I was the only one with 'the food', but now it is already so in my system that it doesn't worry me anymore.
Emily is a perfect baby so far. Grows, drinks, poops and sleeps like she should and only cries when she really needs something (food, nappy or dummy).
Since I have been a night owl anyway the last months the night feeds don't bother me much. So I am happy to say that I still have energy left to help me through the day. Although I wonder if I realize it for the full 100% that I am a mum I am enjoying every little look from this little angel and hope it will stay that way forever.

May we introduce.........Emily

May we introduce.........Emily
This morning (December 24th) we became the very rpoud parents of Emily Claire Gorwill. We got to the hospital at 00.45 hrs and 5 hours later our Christmas angel had arrived. She is 8.22 lbs (3,730 kg) and is 50 cm tall.
Her head is still slightly swollen (and so is mummy's) because Emily was delivered with a bit of help from a vacuum...but it will dissapear soon.
Grandparents, uncles and aunties are over the moon.
We couldn't have hoped for a better Christmas gift than this. To see more pictures of Emily click here

Well actually, there is nothing new to report. Although I sometimes can feel some training-contractions nothing serious is going on.....so far.
The gynaecologist told me that she does expect the baby to arrive before Xmas, so that will be nice. But not sure how trustworthy she really is. When needed my next check-up will be December 27th and probably not long after the will push the baby a bit to get out. One thing is certain: Frou-Frou will be born in 2007!

We thought  that all the kittens have found new homes, but today there was a cancellation for two. So hopefully someone else would like to have them. One we are keeping yourselves, because James and Shadow (she does follow him everywhere) became really close friends. So the week after New Years it will be a lot more quiet in the house. And at least the Christmas tree will have it's peace back :-)

New life

Frou-Frou
Frou-Frou
Here is the latest scan of our daughter, Frou-Frou Stumblebum. Of course this will not be her real name, but James thought it was funny to call her that until the birth because all the celebrities children do have strange names like Fifi-Trixibelle, Pixie, Peaches Honeyblossom, Apple, Tallulah Belle etc.

We have decided to name our daughter with a normal name that can be prenounced by everybody and no need to spell it everywhere she will go. But I am afraid you will have to wait for the birth announcement.

Progress in the nursery

Here a picture of the four kittens and how they have grown in 10 days. They all have their eyes open now, but still very attached to mummy.
Aren't they just lovely?!
More pictures of the kittens you can find here or visit YouTube for a short video

Once upon a time.....

Once upon a time.....
...we had sort of a bathroom. It was covered with green 60's tiles and not a lot was right. Since this weekend we don't have anything. James stripped the entire bathroom and hopefully the men start rebuilding it today.
James did a great job demolishing the bathroom, because it was a nasty job. The shower tray was built out of 5 layers of tiles and a wooden pallet. We can't wait to show you the result of our new bath cell.

Strange addiction

Strange addiction
In the last two weeks I have developed a really strange addiction. Let's blame my pregancy for God's sake, because normally I wouldn't even touch the things I can not live without now. At this moment I am highly addicted to boiled menthol sweets. And the worst is that I am driving James absolutely insane by biting on them. I love the crispy, menthol chips.
I already asked the gynaecologist if it could do the baby any harm and she didn't think so. It's not that I am eating a bag a day....but a bag a week I have no problems with. And strangly enough: I still managed to catch a nasty cold :-(

I think all and all pregnancy is a strange thing (in a postive way). If I look back over the last 8 months I have stopped drinking coffee completly (still love the smell.....but the thought of drinking it makes me sick) stopped smoking (same thing as coffee, with the exception of a couple of puffs here and there) and in the beginning I had a serious craving for Gingerbreadman (Thanks to Sue, who posted us some), apples and fruit Mentos. It was really funny to read afterwards that ginger helps you against nausea. So once again you see how the human body controls itself.  But I still can not find an explanation for my Menthol sweets addiction. Oh well one thing is for sure....Frou Frou will not suffer from bad breath when she is born :-)

Progress in bathroom

Progress in bathroom

To whom is interested in construction: here the latest status of our bathroom. As you will know, everything....really everything has been taken out and Sandra's father and cousin started from scratch.
After three days of hard work this is the result for the moment. Although it is far from finished it already looks 10x better than the previous bathroom when it was finished.

We are grandparents

Only a couple of hours old
Only a couple of hours old
Last night we became proud grandparents of 2 lovely little kittens. Later that day Puck gave birth to another set. Mother and babies are doing fine, especially after a deadborn kitten in the middle of August.
Sandra was allowed during the birth and tried to be a good midwife.
Here the first picture

Eeeeeek!

Eeeeeek!

Approximately we have to wait only 63 more days till the arrival of our baby girl! My heart jumped when I saw 63 days....that is nothing!! I am very excited but also positively anxious about it all. But that's more because I don't know what to expect, not just giving birth but also leaving the house together and when everything goes well coming home with an extra person. But I guess you would have heard a lot more complaining from other women if it would be all that bad :-) Luckily everything in the house is baby ready. Nursery is finished, she has more to wear than her parents together, she has a pram, a bath, dipers, toys, books, a crib and a bed, a maxi-cosi, feeding bottles, two loving parents and families....can't think of much more to satisfy the little princess.

Today I have another appoinment in the hospital with the nurse, to check baby's heartbeat, my bloodpressure and my general state. Friday I will see someone that will give me a speed course how to deal with labour . Because I am not the type of person that will sit weekly in a circle with 20 other pregant women and discuss all the little pains etc.....I just do that at work, hahaha.

On October the 25th there is a possibilty for us to do a 'tour' at the maternity ward in the hospital. I can say I have been there already on the day nephew Bart was born, but James was still in the hospital then. So I don't want him to get lost on the big day. haha.

I am special

My parents told me from a young age that I was special, but I suppose they meant it in another way than I do now.  In the hospital they found out that I am Rhesus D negative. I got a shot for that right away and will get another injection straight after giving birth. But to be honest I had to look up on the internet what is 'wrong' with me.

In case you are interested as well, here is the explanation:

There are four possible blood groups: A, B, AB and O. Everyone belongs to one of these four groups and except in very rare instances, it doesn't matter if you are a different blood group to the father of your baby. What does matter is the rhesus factor - whether or not you are rhesus-positive (RhD-positive) or rhesus-negative (RhD-negative). People who are RhD-positive have a protein on their red blood cells called D antigen, RhD-negative people do not have this. If you are RhD-negative and are carrying a RhD-positive baby, there is a risk that if yours and the baby's blood mix (which could happen during pregnancy or the birth) your immune system will produce antibodies against your baby's blood, which will cause anaemia and other problems in this baby or in future pregnancies.

We inherit the rhesus factor from our parents, and approximately 85% of the Caucasian population has RhD- positive blood, 94% of Africans and 90% of Asians. The reason most people are RhD-positive is due to the fact that we each have two copies of the rhesus gene (one inherited from each parent) and these genes are either positive or negative, with the positive one being dominant and the negative one recessive. This means that if you have one positive gene and one negative, the positive one always wins and you will be RHD-positive. If you have two positive genes you will also be positive. Only if both genes are negative will you have RhD-negative blood.

If both parents are RhD-negative, then there is no chance that any of their babies could be RhD-positive, since neither parent possesses a positive gene to pass on. If both parents have a positive and a negative gene (so they will both be RhD-positive), the chances are that one or both parent will pass on a positive gene to their baby, so the baby will also be rhesus-positive. It is possible for two rhesus-positive parents to produce a RhD-negative baby, so if your parents are both positive and you are wondering how you can possibly be negative, here is the answer! If both your parents carry a positive and a negative gene, they will both be RhD-positive because the positive one is the dominant one. But if both parents pass on the negative gene to the baby, the baby is bound to be RhD-negative as it has not received any RhD-positive genes from either parent.

Blood tests to find out your blood group and rhesus status are offered early in pregnancy because complications arising from the rhesus factor are preventable. Your midwife will give you more information about this. Your partner may not know his blood group and rhesus status unless he is a blood donor or has had this tested for some medical reason in the past. It is not usual to offer partners routine testing to find out this information, though you might consider asking if this could be done.

No more doctors for James

The incredible recovery of James
The incredible recovery of James
Yesterday James had his last appointment with his neuro surgeon in the hospital in Amsterdam where he has been treated. It was a check-up after they replaced his skull back. And he never has to come back again!!

Tomorrow James has another appointment with the firm's doctor to discuss when he can go back to work full time! I keep saying how amazing this entire period has been and what a great miracle it it is that the only visible things that are left from his accident is a scar and a sort of deafness in his right ear. It could have been all so different.

In less than 10 days we are flying over to the UK to spend some time with the family, since we will be 'busy' at Christmas. I flew to Dublin last week, and it all went fine but this flight to Bristol will definitively be my last one before baby arrives. I notice that neither standing or sitting for a long time does my back any good.
Thank god for physiotherapists, and thanks to Dutch Health Inssurance you no longer need a docotor's letter to make an appoinment. So off to see him Friday.

In loving memory: Henriette Camek 1922-2007

In loving memory: Henriette Camek 1922-2007
Sunday September 30th 2007 we received a sad phonecall that Sandra's grandmother passed away at the age of 85 after a heavy brain haemorrhage the day before. We will remember her as the pivot of the family, a person that was always there for you when you needed her. Leaving her family in Amsterdam during the war to go to her in-laws in former Czechoslovakia with a little baby isn't an easy task, and raising 3 children in an enviroment that you aren't used to takes a lot of courage.

We will say our last good-byes to Oma on Thursday at 14.00 hrs but keep her forever in our hearts.

Big baby?

Baby Tonio from Mexico, birthweight 6.6. kilo = 14 lb 6 oz
Baby Tonio from Mexico, birthweight 6.6. kilo = 14 lb 6 oz
During yesterday's meeting with our gynaecologist she felt my belly and was suprised that I didn't gain so much weight but that the size of my uterus was so big for the time I am pregnant. So in three weeks time I will have another scan to see if we will have a giant baby or that I have just built a spacious appartment for our little one :-D
I will keep you updated.

Big baby part 2

Friends of ours sent us this article they found somewhere on the world wide web....maybe there is a link with our latest web-log below :-)

Short translation:

Good news

Good news

James his operation will take place Wednesday August 15th and will take about 2 hours. It might sound strange but James is in a way looking forward to it.
After the operation he needs to stay another day in hospital and when everything goes well I can take him home on Thursday or Friday.

Our little baby finally revealed it's secret and we'll be having a baby girl! :-D
And yes....her wardrobe is already full with pink and white...and I have to control myself not to but any more.

Lucky in London

Lucky in London

Got back yesterday from a great weekend in London.
Claire had her farewell party, since she will be working from London startting today. So after pre-drinks and a good dinner we went to Lucky Voice, private karaoke cabines. We had a great time! Footage can be found on the World Wide Web, but you have to look for it yourself. I am not taking any blame if a nasty beep stays in your ears for a while! Also check out the new Monkey pictures. Hannah Lissenberg, my cousin from Canada sent me some pictures of her apes. So the family is getting bigger and bigger. Cool! Thanks Hannah!

Weekend in Copenhagen

Harbour in Copenhagen
Harbour in Copenhagen
Yesterday we got back from a great weekend in Denmark. Copenhagen is a beautiful city, and the people (as far as we can tell) are very friendly.
Sandra has finally seen the statue of the Little Mermaid, so now she is a very happy pixie. Sunday we all went on a fishing trip near Sweden. Although the men tried real hard to be men......Sandra caught the most ánd biggest fish!! And even got them of the hook in the end. Quite an experience I must admit.
You know where to go for pictures.

Black is the new black

Black is the new black
And therefor Sandra went wild on her day off last week.
Surprised James big time with a partly black living room.
Fireplace is no longer white and rough but covered with smooth black tiles accompanied by black wallpaper with silver roses. After James sat down for 10 minutes he got used to it as well and now even likes it a lot :-D
What's up next? Well toilet needs to be finished and we are going to re-wallpaper the other side of the living room and paint it some shade of blue/grey....ore maybe not. haha.

But first James' finger has to heal. At work he has cut his finger so bad that it needed two stichtes to hold it together. And unfortunately he also got a nerve- or bone infection with it. So every other day he is at the gp's to discuss his treatment. But he can still smile.

It's getting serious now

New toilet
New toilet

In September Sandra already made a start with stripping the tiles in the downstairs bathroom. The only things in there were the sink, the toilet and the floor tiles. Well....since yesterday they have gone too. So we have a new toilet bowl, new sink and discovered a lot of smells that the former owners did leave behind for us. Yuk! Also the bathroom upsatirs is compeletly empty right now, so we will be really busy the next weeks with decorating and other DIY activities. But it's fun and definetly worth it.

We are back

Coco Beach
Coco Beach
Today we came back from a beautiful holiday at Isla Margarita. Since we are still a bit jet-lagged to write a long story we hope the pictures will tell you all about it.

Hello 2007!!

Hello 2007!!
We would like to wish everybody all the best for 2007.
We had a lovely Christmas in beautiful Westbury together with Bob, Sue (James' parents) Claire and Nigel (James' sister with her husband). Simon and Tracy couldn't make it this year because of their flight to Dubai on the 27th of December...but the telephone made it possible to say to them as well.
We were very lucky that we could get to Bristol Airport, because due to the fog all the flights (with the exception of ours) from Amsterdam to Bristol were cancelled.

Santa was more than generous this year, we must have been very very very good! All the stockings were filled and the floor around the Christmas tree was covered with diferent type of boxes.
Santa Claire had a special suprise for four people. They had to fight eachother on the garden deck in sumo suites with a can of silly-string. You probably had to be there to understand what I mean, because it was absolutely hillarious. Hopefully Claire and Nigel will send us some pictures soon so we can share the fun we had with you.

Work was waiting for us back home, so on Boxing day we sadly had to say goodbye to the family and flew 'home'.

For New Years we stayed local and came home around 4.30 am. But we must admit....we're not eighteen anymore :-)

In less than 3 weeks we will fly to the Carabbean for a 10 day holiday. We are so much looking forward to that! We look at it as a late honeymoon. Of course we will keep you updated!

Work in progress

Work in progress
The weekend in London turned out to be a weekend not just in the London but also most parts of the rest of South-West England.
So many old and new things that I have seen or experienced.....
- an English court from the inside
- Stonehenge
- a Lacross game
- the prop of the Welsh national team
- 3 of the in-laws :-))
- ASDA :-)
- a meeting point for race fans in Portsmouth :-/

in a nutshell: it was great being on the island again.

And back home James, the cats and the unfinished house were waiting for me.......
It is very tempting when you already live in a house like ours to get used to the mess instead of doing something about it. But that has changed since last weekend....

...I put wallpaper on the living room walls!! Woohoo!!
I must admit that I was very pleased with the result of my job. And to contiue my list of things to proud of I made a roast dinner on Sunday WITH home made Yorkshire pudding!!!! So Bob the Builder and Mr Oliver...be aware of some serious competition in your fields!

The Great Escape

Claire and James March 2006
Claire and James March 2006
No no, don't worry (or maybe do) I am not leaving James...................he's leaving me. Just kidding!!
Finally found a moment to escape the caboodle we are living in for a few days. So I am going to see Claire in London again and I am looking forward to that so much. That means that we also have to buy an extra wardrobe because I must have new clothes! And where can you shop better than in London!! Woohoo! Maybe I will ask James to make me that wardrobe himself, so he won't get bored when I am away. ;-)

Zandvoort, 14 September 2006

A house....a never ending story

A house....a never ending story
Even after taking 2,5 weeks off I really thought that our house would be ready to live in......what a disillusion!
Not only did we need to instal central heating, we also have to replace all the water pipes and electricity. Thank god we know some lovely people that helped us out real quick. Otherwise we had to wait till October, and it's getting pretty cold here already.

The heating will be finished coming weekend, that means that after that we can start putting in the wooden floors and order new furniture. Because we have to be out of the apartment at September 8th we have moved most of our belongings two days ago and took up our quarters in the living room, actually nothing more than a matras on the floor. But we'll get there....eventually.

Coming soon: before and after pictures!

Love,

James & Sandra

Zandvoort, 5 September 2006

A year after......

It has been only a year since we have met. We don't need to tell you that so much has happened since then.
Sometimes we feel that we have done in one year what 'normal' people do in about 5, or maybe more.
Strangly enough it all felt naturally. But we must admit that the last 12 months have been pretty hectic and it's not over yet. The house is waiting for us to be rennovated and to become OUR HOME where we will both start a new life in.

We can assure you that after we are done in the house we will relax a bit and enjoy eachother's company without deciding what type of cake to order, what color the wedding cards should be, what design wall paper will come in the living room......we can't wait for that moment.
So for everybody who wants to ask us when the baby is arriving we have an answer for you in stock: NOT YET! :-)

Zandvoort July 2006

How things are

James has been home since 3 weeks and things are going better and better with him every day. He still needs to go back to the hospital in Amsterdam to have his skull replaced, that will hopefully be this summer.
There they also need to check if he will ever be able to hear with his right ear again. Today we are going to see a pyshio therapist who will tell us what to do from here.

James is more postivie these days and we both enjoy doing little things, like working in the nursery. When we put the crib together we almost couldn't believe it that in less than 5 months there will be a little person in that bed.

Good news

Baby G June 5th 2007
Baby G June 5th 2007

Since the last two weeks were full of bad news I will dedicate this text block to good news only.
As you will know James is in the hospital since May 26th, because of a bad fall from appr. 9 metres/29,5 ft.
After heavy brain surgery, a week of artifical sleep and being on liquid food he is doing very well at this moment.
Although is he still confused now and then he can move all his body parts, he is being cheeky again and he can speak very clearly. But as you can understand he is still in a lot of pain, mainly in his head. I am so proud of him and of the way he is recovering. It is unbelievable that two weeks ago we all feared for his life and now we can take him out for a walk in a wheel chair. I always believed in a stronger power, but personally don't want to call that power God, Allah or something else. But it's clear to me that James received a lot of strenght and energy from many sides during his recovery.
I also would like to thank everbody that has supported us the last two weeks in every way possible, either by phone, post cards, email, txt msg, visits or just by thinking of us. THANK YOU, THANK  YOU, THANK YOU!

During all the consternation around James I lost a ball
of blood which I thought was the baby. But when I went for an ultra sound the next day or beautiful baby was even waving to me. Here is the latest picture.
The bets started already and the stakes on 'a boy'  are much higher than the ones for a girl. We will find out in 7 weeks.

First picture

First picture
Here he/she is.........1,5 cm tall and of course the most beautiful baby in the world! Hahaha.
Heart was beating very well.....
We are over the moon, although it is still pretty unrealistic that we will be with three the end of this year.
Next ultra sound......June 5th. Keep you updated!

Photo update

New update: photo's of our Christmas in Westbury and of course Apes on Tour!!

As promised: new pictures of the house

A while ago we promised you to put some before- and after pictures on our website....the only downside was that we couldn't find the cable for our camera!
But here they are: some snap shots of the kitchen. Bare in mind...it are the last 3 pictures you see, the rest are the before pictures.
Hope you like it, we know we do.

There is still a lot that needs to be done, but for those who know us it will not be a surprise that we are taking it slow......this time.

Back to normal life

As you know we have trough quite a lot since May 26th and while James was in the hospital the doctors told us that in case of improvement it would take months and maybe years for James to recover...IF he would recover that was. But now only 14 weeks after the accident James will go back to work for 3 half-days a week untill the middle of September and then full time again.

As you can imagine he is very much looking forward going back. And so in 14 weeks time our lives went from normal to terryfying and back to normal again.
Hopefully we can enjoy it for the next 4 months till the baby arrives.

Dutch Traditions

Beschuit met muisjes
Beschuit met muisjes
Just a short summary of a birth tradition in The Netherlands:

When a baby is born everybody that comes to visit the newborn, as colleagues at work and classmates of an older child get a 'beschuit met muisjes' (biscuit with          'mice').
They are called mice because it is aniseed covered in sugar and sometimes a 'tail' sticks out of the sugat ball, so it looks a bit like a mouse.

In the middleages anisproducts were known as healing and would help the new mother recover quickly after birth.

The Beschuit with muisjes we know nowadays descend from the nineteenth century and were initially only available for the richer layers of the population 'ordinary' people ate blank bread with sugar to celebrate a birth. Nowadays everyone can enjoy this delicacy!

Normally all mice were pink and white, but since the 1990's they are also available in blue and white for boys.
Muisjes are produced by De Ruijter

Nothing...........yet

It's the 23rd today....and no baby yet. But it is rumbling in there....so can't be long....we hope :-)

Only 4%

You need to have an open mind. If you don't look for the baby you will see the baby
You need to have an open mind. If you don't look for the baby you will see the baby
Yesterday (december 18th) was my due-date. But it's good to know that only 4% of the baby's do arrive on their actual due-date. To be honest I have never believed that Frou-Frou would arrive on the 18th. So as Sidney Youngblood sang back in 1989 is 'All we can do is sit and wait'

The Lissenberg cot

The Lissenberg cot

After 70 years it is finally my turn to use the Lissenberg cot. The first user was Gerrit Lissenberg, my fathers oldest brother back in 1937. Both me and my brother and lots of extended family have used this as their first bed ever since. I don't even know how often the fabric has been changed because it wasn't the taste of the new parents. The last 'owner' of the cot was nephew Bart. He had green fabric. We decided to go more classic with white.

Looking back

At the end of this year it's not unusual to look back to what has happend the last 11 months.
And I don't need to explain that James's accident has had the biggest impact on James and me and of course our famlies. It seems like the further we get away from the 26th of May the more surreal it seems. During the time James was in the hopsital recovering etc. I was just pushed through live. Didn't think of it a lot and just took every day and every improvement as it came supported by two fantastic families and close friends.
But as I expected it myself, I only started to realize how lucky and blessed we are that James came out the way he did a couple of weeks ago.
I had that same experience when my grandfather suddenly passed away in 1995. I was doing fine, till 6 months after. The history seems to repeat itself.

I can not explain how happy I am that our baby will see James as her father and that he will be able to hold her, speak to her, play and walk with her as other fathers do. And that I don' t have to push both a pram and a wheelchair.
They say that every woman gets the baby-blues (in Holland we say maternity tears) and I know that I will have them too, but mine will be pure tears of luck.

I have always believed in miracles, but never experienced one as big as this. We surely must have done something right to deserve a second chance and a new start with the baby. I would like to thank each and everyone of you that have supported us in any way you can think of, prayers, postcards, postive thoughts, phone calls, emails, etc. It really meant a lot to us.

We now know what they mean with 'Time flies when you are having fun'....Emily will be already 6 months old on June 24th. Unbelievable! She just doesn't stop growing and every day there is something new! Please note that Emily has a new web album
